The Hub is an initiative of the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS). We support & coordinate behavioral health initiatives in Bridgeport, Darien, Easton, Fairfield, Greenwich, Monroe, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, Stratford, Trumbull, Weston, Westport, and Wilton.
We serve the 14 communities from Greenwich to Stratford in Southwestern CT. We are a Regional Behavioral Health Action Organization (RBHAO), working as a strategic partner and resource for the communities.
The HUB does not provide direct services. Instead, we work with elected officials, community leaders, providers, and community stakeholders. We liaise with the State and act as a representative on advisory boards and in advocacy efforts on behalf of the region. We coordinate initiatives related to mental health, suicide, substance misuse, and problem gambling. We conduct regional assessments every two years to prioritize the needs of our towns and cities.
We are spearheading an effort for organizations within the region to adopt a Recovery Friendly Workplace model, shifting to an environment that emphasizes help, hope, and the economic potential of healthy employees.
